  Hi, For Cybersmart, we have been learning about Amplification and that means to pop out the keywords.  So I made a poster about koalas to show what it is all about. So the hard thing about it is the facts cause it has many personalities and the good thing is the picture of the koala cause it is so cute. So my class made a poster each about different things. 

Who Did It? WorkBook

Over the week, we have been reading called "Who did it"? So we had to read and find the Characters, Settings, Problem, Feeling, Outcome, Action, and Theme. Then we have to make a slide, then we have activities that we need to do. What I enjoyed the most was the activities because it shows your creativity! What I did not like was one of the activities that were the Design of the door that Bosco can go through because I can't think of an idea!

I rate this a 10 out of 10 cause it has mystery. So I hope you like it!

The parts of the Marae

We have been learning about parts about The Marae. I drew Arrows to the parts of  The Marae. We had to double the screen, So we know where it is supposed to be. The hard part is the Paepae part and the easy part was the Teckotecko part. I  hope you enjoy it. :)

Lego challange Cube

 Today I did the lego challenge and it was a shape 3D or 2D. I did a cube with my little brother's lego. It was so HARD!  I went to the site and it said to build a shape. I did not know what to build, but then I thought hard. So I tried my best to think of a shape. I work so hard to make it. But it was not easy. There was not an easy part on the lego challenge because it is so hard. I hope you like it. Bye:)

Wondering (Why does blood travels in your body?)

I've been learning about why does blood travels in your body. So there are four ingredients to make blood. Red blood cells carry oxygen to the areas that need it.  White blood cells help fight many infections. Platelets help the blood stopped coming out when you get hurt. Plasma carries a variety of things like nutrition, proteins, and hormones throughout the body. Do you know that your heart is a powerful muscle because it pumps your blood from at the top of your brain to the tips of your toes? Do you know that your blood can go to every part of your body in less than one minute? I hope you like it! And thanks to Ms. Raisin for the slide!

Wondering ( how our eyes make us see?)

I've been learning about how our eyes make us see?  Playing I spy make you think how incredible your eyes are. They can look in all directions, focusing on things, They can see near and mere milliseconds. They are on the job, helping you experience from when you wake up and when you go to sleep. Human sight is all about the light. It may seem obvious since it's impossible to see in the dark. The light reflecting off objects and entering the eye that allows us to see them.  When the lights bounce off an object in your field of vision and enter the eye, it first penetrates a thin layer of tears that covers the outer layer of the eye called the Cornea. The Cornea helps to focus the to see it. On the other side of the Cornea is a liquid substance called aqueous humor. The fluid maintains proper pressure inside the eye. After the aqueous humor, The lights pass through the pupil, which is the round opening in the iris that you have otherwise known as the colored part of your eye. There are more facts about it. We've been learning how to write an effective blog post. The things you have to write a post a Helpful, Positive, and Thoughtful. The trickiest thing is finding the meaning. The easiest part was the shape and the put-in front. The first thing you have to type is the greeting and the ending is the question. I hope you like it.

 

Myths and legends

We have been learning about Myths and legends. So we've been doing a myth and legend workbook and we have to complete the activities is in the workbook. We have also been learning about summarising means saying the story in your own words.  My favorite part is the book creator, In the book creator, we wrote our own myth or legend. I now know what is a myth and a legend. The first book in my creator was about three flying pets. The other story was about when I was telling what was a myth and legend. I have learned about what was the difference between a myth and a legend and if it is real or not. I hope you like it!😀😀😀

My touch pad practise

We have been learning to use a touchpad in our Chromebook. It was a little hard and a little easy as well. But my friend Blessy helped me a little bit. My teacher said to not use a mouse, that is why we are doing the touchpad practice.  We learned how to hold and drag. My teacher helped me but I did the rest. It is from Cybersmart learning. We did it from Google Drive and Google Slides. 

The swimming event

    We were having a swimming event. My two events were Running and Floatation. In running event, I came in third place both in pre-elimination and finals. In floatation event, I came in first place both in pre-elimination and finals. A few days later, I got my winning certificate. I wish we will have another swimming event again next year.

Easter Basket Caitlin

A day before Easter Play Day we made an Easter basket from Google Drawings.  Miss Raisin taught us how to copy and paste. The color is a Rainbow. My school is having an Easter Play Day and we get five days off. It has heaps of Easter designs, but most of all an Easter Bunny. On the day of Easter Play Day, I did activities like Easter hand band making, rock painting, baking egg nest cakes, and animal pom-poms. We also did an Easter egg hunt made by the teachers. Almost all the teachers were dressed as a bunny, including my Principal, and most of all teacher Miss Raisin, even though it felt hot because of the weather. I had so much fun.
