Wondering (Why does blood travels in your body?)

I've been learning about why does blood travels in your body. So there are four ingredients to make blood. Red blood cells carry oxygen to the areas that need it.  White blood cells help fight many infections. Platelets help the blood stopped coming out when you get hurt. Plasma carries a variety of things like nutrition, proteins, and hormones throughout the body. Do you know that your heart is a powerful muscle because it pumps your blood from at the top of your brain to the tips of your toes? Do you know that your blood can go to every part of your body in less than one minute? I hope you like it! And thanks to Ms. Raisin for the slide!

This is a very informative blog post. I am pretty sure that most people who visit your blog will learn something from this.
Was this a Literacy task that you had to do?

  2. Morena Caitlin,
It has to be a really efficient pump to keep plodding away every day, making sure that the blood keeps moving around our entire body (from our brain to our toes). It's fascinating thinking about the different parts that make up our blood, that are moving through those little tubes. We don't really think about that when a little drop comes to the surface and needs a plaster.

I really enjoyed reading your blog post about blood moves around your body. Our hearts are so amazing aren't they, working so hard and never stopping! Reading your wonderful work reminds me that I should be making sure I look after my heart so it can keep going for a long time.
